We are looking for a senior Java/Kotlin developer who can design scalable backend solutions, modernize existing systems, and actively contribute to technical decisions and code quality.

from EUR 3,000/month
the actual base salary will be adjusted in line with your professional experience, knowledge and skills + 20% monthly KPI after the probation period

- Design, development and maintenance of backend services (Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot)
- Implementation of REST/SOAP APIs and integration of external systems
- Performance optimization of applications and database operations (Hibernate/JPA)
Frontend collaboration
- Development or support of Angular applications (SPA)
- Maintenance of legacy solutions (JSF)
- Collaboration on connecting the backend and frontend layers
Architecture and modernization
- Design and development of application architecture (layered / microservices)
- Refactoring and gradual modernization of legacy systems
- Technical decision-making focused on scalability, performance and security
Quality and collaboration
- Code reviews, setting code quality standards
- Mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- Active participation in solution design and process improvement
DevOps overlap
- Collaboration on the CI/CD pipeline (build, test, deploy)
- Application containerization (Docker), basic familiarity with Kubernetes
Requirements:

The position is suitable for candidates with education: secondary education with school-leaving exam, Bachelor’s degree (1st level) Master’s degree (2nd level)

Education in the field: IT, technical

Language skills: English language – Upper-intermediate (B2)

Years of experience: at least 4 years in Java/Kotlin ecosystem development

Driving licence: category B

Experience in Java/Kotlin ecosystem development

Spring stack: Spring Boot, MVC, Security

Databases: advanced SQL knowledge (Oracle/PostgreSQL)

Frontend: experience with Angular (JSF is an advantage)
