GAMO a.s. - provider of complex IT solutions:

    GAMO currently focus on deliveries of hardware infrastructure for segment of medium enterprises, as well as on sophisticated IT solutions for customers, who require smooth and continuous operation of their systems. Our solutions are based on well adopted products, which we combine with latest technologies, such as virtualization or blade concept. As a matter of course we integrate and consolidate the whole IT environment at the customer.
    Within the software solutions area, GAMO focus on specifically oriented vertical segment solutions. Long term we address our solutions to healthcare, GIS solutions for utilities segment, or education and learning organizations. We dispose team of skilled analysts, designers and programmers, able to design and develop tailored specific application to meet particular customer requirements.
    As necessity, we provide technical support and maintenance services. Here mentioned services we provide not only for our installed systems, but in majority cases for the whole IT environment. GAMO is able to provide wide range of services – starting by simple maintenance and configurations, through remote administration and management, up to SLA based services. Here we fully use newly integrated HelpDesk solution.
    As a traditionally provided service we organize IT trainings and certification tests. We have team of qualified lectors, able to practice very interactive trainings. Approved ECDL testing rooms across whole Slovakia offer ability to gain internationally accepted IT skills certificates.

Company‘s milestones 1991 - 2008:
1991
On the last day of February, GAMO electronic – an association (then called consortium) of physical entities – is created. In October the consortium is transformed to GAMO, Company Limited.
The company has seven members of the consortium and two new employees. The managers negotiate the direct deliveries of computer components for the Czechoslovak market in Taiwan.

1993
After the division of the Czechoslovak Republic the conditions on the market have been changed. GAMO focuses their attention on the Slovak market. On the first time GAMO gives a good account of themselves in the COFAX expo in Bratislava, in autumn GAMO organises Lannet – a specialized conference dealing with computer networks.

1999
Since January 1st, 1999 GAMO have acted as the joint-stock company, originated from initial Limited company on the market.

2002
Implementation of the process management techniques during years 2001 and 2002 was completed in November 2002. GAMO achieved the quality management system certificate according to ISO 9001:2000, which covered design, development, production, implementation, technical support, trainings and consultations in the area of Informational Technology.

2005
Agreement between Železiarne Podbrezová a. s. (ŽP) and GAMO a. s. about undertaking the IT department of ŽP into the GAMO structure and about providing the total IT outsourcing for ŽP has been signed. Together with this agreement the decision about sharing the management rights in GAMO by Železiarne Podbrezová has been taken.

2007
Outsourcing contract with ŽP was terminated, and the company was undertaken by origin shareholders again. Our strategic aim is providing of the quality, integrated complex solutions with ability of integration IT projects at the customer. As a result we expect reaching the stable and strong position on the IT market, supported by relations built with relevant IT suppliers.
